David Marquez talked with Nick and Matt Jackson, the Yong Bucks. Nick issued a challenge to Alkatraz. This brother team is too young to gamble in Vegas, but they will get the chance to roll the dice against the tag champs in the near future. These kids remind me of a young Rock and Roll Express.
The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) d Alkatraz and Sexy Chino
Alkatraz left the ring to argue with a fan. Alkatraz has had issues with both fans and partners over the weeks. Alkatraz used his power to shove Nick to the mat, several times. Zokre d Joey Ryan
Ryan was joined at ringside by his manager, C. Edward Vanderpyle, and partner, “Machine Gun” Karl Anderson. The announce team gave us a quick history lesson about the feud between The Real American Heroes (Ryan and Anderson) and Los Luchas (Zokre and Phoenix Star). Star was absent from ringside for this battle.

The ref turned and saw Anderson in the ring. The ref tossed out both Anderson and Vanderpyle. With the ref’s attention of the removal of Vanderpyle and Anderson, Joey Ryan grabbed Zokre and tossed him over the top rope. Normally, that would have been a DQ loss, but the ref didn’t see it.

Grade: B
Alkatraz rushed the ring and got in the face of “Special E” Dinsmore. Alkatraz yelled and shoced at Dinsmore. The video feed died out before any punches were thrown. Since the preacher from Shepherd’s Chapel just showed up, I guess we are done for the night.
Final Grade: A-
Final Thoughts:
It was nice to finally have a new episode of the show. The NWA has some fantastic fresh talent. The Young Bucks are going to be a future superstar tag team. They may well be the next Hardy Boyz. The so remind me of the Rock and Roll Express and The Rockers.
I’ll be glad when the “new” Nick Dinsmore finally comes to NWA. The “Special E/Eugene” character was always the most annoying character in wrestling. Nick Dinsmore is one of the top technical stars in the sport. It was a bit on an insult to real fans to see him come to the ring playing the Idiot Savant character.
NWA has something going for it that the other feds don’t have…a tag team division. The Young Bucks, Los Luchas, the Real American Heroes and numerous other teams make the tag team worth something.
Let’s hope that next week is another new episode. I know that they taped several shows in February and early March at The Plaza in Las Vegas. If you go there to see the action, just remember the wise words imparted to my wife and I on the day we moved to Las Vegas. A rough old man, named Crazy John, came up to us and said “I’m a tough old ***** and I won’t go past 15th street. I suggest you don’t either.” Las Vegas is a beautiful place, if you know where to visit.
