CROWN OF THORNS UPDATE
The dawn of a new and exciting championship era is approaching with the UNION Heavyweight title set to be decided in a huge 4-way main event match at UIPW’s “CROWN OF THORNS”. “The Bastard Son of 1,000 Corpses” SEBASTIAN DARK, “The Motor City Monster” EDDIE VENOM, “The Picture of Perfection” PEPPER PARKS and one yet-to-be-named contender will face off in this epic battle with the brand new UNION championship belt on the line.
On Saturday February 23rd, join us at Royal Canadian Legion Hall #101 (3850 Lake Shore Blvd West, Etobicoke) for all the action of the Union of Independent Professional Wrestlers. Doors open at 6:30pm and the bell rings at 7pm. Tickets are $20 each and they are on sale right now at the Legion Hall or online in the “UNION Shop” on our official website: www.wrestlersunion.ca
As was announced last week, the UNION Tag Team titles will also be decided at “CROWN OF THORNS”. A 4-team mini-tournament will be held with the winners being crowned the first set of UNION tag champs since the spring of 2004. Three teams have already been named to the hunt for the gold: The FLATLINERS, The ALL-KNIGHTERS and The WYLD STALLIONS. A fourth team will be announced as early as next week.
EDDIE OSBOURNE will be in competition on February 23rd as he looks to end his losing streak in a rematch with everyone’s favorite flabby fighting machine: The Masked, Hideous BLOB. In addition, fans will see the long-awaited UNION debuts of international cruiserweight phenomenon HORNET and trailer park terror CODY DEANER, the return of JESSY JONES and the JONES OMNISPORT CORPORATION and much, much more…
